Terms of Use
The short version: the app is licensed to you, not sold. The music you make with it is yours.
License
mõdRïff is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app from the App Store. Where these terms add to it, they add the points below. If the two ever conflict, Apple's agreement controls.
Your music
You own what you create: songs, patterns, recordings and anything you export. I claim no rights to it and take no share of it. You can release it, sell it or put it in a video without asking me or crediting the app.
Samples you record or import
If you record or load sounds you don't have the right to use, that is between you and the owner of those sounds. Please only sample what you're allowed to.
Don't
- copy, resell or redistribute the app itself, or its bundled sounds as a sound library on their own;
- reverse engineer the app except where the law lets you.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is. I work hard to keep it steady, but I can't promise it will be error-free or that it will fit your needs. Please save and export what matters to you. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for lost work or for indirect damages arising from using the app.
Purchases
Any purchase is made through Apple and is subject to Apple's payment terms and refund process. Use the Restore Purchases control in the app to recover purchases on a new device.
